Every year, Parade Magazine compiles a list of the world’s worst dictators based upon
information from Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Reports without Borders,
and the U.S. State Department.

We are going to RESEARCH current DICTATORS in AFRICA !
We will be making a "WANTED POSTER" for the DICTATOR of your choice.

After selecting a leader from the top 20, you will create a
Wanted Poster including the following information:
Picture of the Leader & Years in Power
Country with a picture of the country
Paragraph explaining why they are considered one of the world’s worst dictators (in own
words)
Three pictures representing specific human rights abuses, civil liberty violations or other
reasons why they are on the list
.
Final product should be either
A) POSTER BOARD
B) @ of the poster/ART papers in classroom- taped together...
.
Hints to get credit:
Have color pictures instead of black & white
Be specific about the things the leader has done, not just the country itself
Type the paragraph instead of handwriting them
.
Do NOT just copy and paste information from the websites about the leader, it should be
a summary in your own words
.
Keep the pictures appropriate enough to post on the wall in the hallway
