Day #201 DNA Review and Intro to Cell Cycle

Learning Objective:  

We will describe each stage of the cell cycle, replication, and its importance.

I will complete the Gizmo on Cell Division.

Warm Up:  Today we will do edpuzzle on Mitosis and the cell cycle.

Assignment:  

1.   We will have a discussion to review DNA structure, replication, and then the teacher will introduce the cell cycle. 

2.  You will login to www.explorelearning.com Links to an external site. and use the simulation on cell division to complete your Cell Division Lab handout. Your log in should be your email and your x number.  UNLESS you created something different when you created your account.  Let me now if you have difficulties.  I can look up your login.

Closure:  Please complete their slides 20-22 in their digital notebook. These will not be due until test day, but remember that this is a BIG unit and if you wait until the end, you will be overwhelmed.
